In 2nd Timothy, we have Paul the Apostle coming to the end of his life.

He's given instruction now to Timothy, which Timothy now is no longer a young man, but he's

older now, and he's been in the ministry.

And Paul writes to him not only to exhort him, but to share with him

the things that are going to take place in time to come. Paul the Apostle in a few weeks would be

beheaded by Nero. He would be killed. And that would be the end of the life of Paul the Apostle.

So he wants to make sure that he's passing on these things to Timothy,

so that Timothy can teach these things to people in time to come.

As I look at the world today, I see that the human race has come to a real danger today.
