You know, growing up in church, like you read miracles in the Bible, like Jesus walking on water and, you know, healing the blind and the lame walking and all the things.

And I'm like, is that really true?

Like, can that really happen?

You know, as a child, I'm thinking this.

I'm like, I want to see a miracle in real life to see if this really is going to happen. And I see a miracle every single morning.

And I'm Lindy Walker. And we are your podcast host, as well as part of the Storytellers Live

ministry where simple life stories are helping women all over the country not only increase their

faith in Christ, find freedom in Christ, but also build community among women. And we do that through

live gatherings that we have across the country that meet in homes. Today's story is Jamie Pope

from Trusville, Alabama. And this one was a really neat one for me because her story that she's

about to share with her son was very well known in Birmingham. And I have followed the

story on Instagram from the very beginning because our sons are the same age. And there's some

mutual overlap in baseball friends. And so when I coached Jamie, I was able to say, oh my gosh,

I have followed your story from day one. I've prayed. I'm on the Instagram page. And it was

just a really neat connection

that I don't feel like gets to happen very often in our world. You know, other people may get to

hear that. But for us, it's very rare. So it was a really neat experience to get to hear her story

start to finish in real life and not on Instagram. I loved Jamie's story so much. I was on the edge of my seat of just how

it was going to turn out. Like I said last week, Amber's story was really so much about

praying big, praying bold. And I think that Jamie's story just piggybacks right off of that.
