When biblical writers encountered the holiness of God, all they could do was fall before

him.

Nancy Dimaswagamu says, this response is a model for us.

You can't come into the presence of God holding on to the filthy rags of your own righteousness

or your own sinfulness.

You can't cling to your sinful habits and say, oh God, I love you, I'm going to worship

you this morning.

You can't do that.

He's a holy God.

And oh that there would be more following down on our faces before him.
