Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am so happy to be praying the Rosary

with my beautiful wife Sandy

after all these days in Jerusalem.

So many people ask me, why don't we pray the Rosary

the way we do?

Because when Mary gave the method for the Rosary to St. Dominic in the year 1208,

she wanted it to be a meditation on the full word of God. The full teaching of Jesus as found in

scripture, tradition, meaning the writings of the Saints and the teaching of the

church, as in the Catechism.

That's why we give you a bite-sized digestible portion of the whole Catholic faith each day.

And day by day you get to learn the whole faith but

also and more importantly how to go more deeply in prayer, how to meditate in the school of

Mary in the Rosary. But today something different. We're going to pray the five glorious mysteries of the Rosary.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

And let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for, especially

Olivia and Margot seeking the intercession of blessed Pauline Jericho. The first glorious mystery, the resurrection.

All the glorious mysteries of the Rosary give us an insight into some facet of what awaits us in heaven.

That insight begins with realizing that heaven will be a place for our bodies.
