As we're talking about this, Psalm 51 verse 10, we've gone to Psalm 51 several times.

It says, Create in me a pure heart, oh God.

And so we're the recipients of God's work in his creating us a

pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me and then he goes on to make our hearts

pure and Jeremiah 31 the promise that with the new covenant, I will

take away your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And then because of that, we're clean,

we're blameless, we're unstained from guilt and increasingly by God's grace and as a

power of the Holy Spirit sort of draws us, our desires are changed. We were dead we were dead to those things, you just read Justin,

and now we're alive to new things.

And so I think that's super helpful.

That's huge. For the tender-hearted person.

I mean, just because the question Bob said was, well,

how are we pure in heart?

And, I mean, you should just gone first I mean because

God creates a pure heart and you right yeah I mean and just I mean the same thing with the

fruit of the spirit conversations we have is like yeah sure are there things you can do that get you know

out of the way so love but yeah sure there's something you can do I guess in the fruit of the

spirit but it's really the fruit of the spirit this is the work of God. Same thing with the pure and heart, like God is thrilled to create.
