Summary

We don’t have to tell you that 2020 has been a really tough year. And yet we know that God is still with us, and we are still celebrating the birth of our savior on Christmas morning. To mark the coming of our Lord, we wanted to do something a little different on Jesuitical. So, instead of covering the Catholic news of the week, we asked you, our listeners, to tell us where you found God in your life amid the loneliness, uncertainty and loss of the coronavirus pandemic. And Zac and Ashley share personal reflections about what Christmas means to them this year. As always, we are grateful to everyone who listens to and supports the show. 1:06.5	And we'll see you in 2021. When I walked into Simply Memorial Hospital just after midnight on March 11th, the receptionist asked if I had traveled to China in the last month.
1:32.0	I had traveled to China in the last month. I had not. I had traveled from Brooklyn to Washington,
1:36.6	D.C. for the birth of my niece. After an anxious hour in the maternity ward waiting room, I was able to hold my sister's first child in my arms, marveling at every hiccup, yawn, and blink.
1:56.7	After a few hours of sleep, I was back at the hospital
1:59.6	the next morning when the news alerts started coming in. The NBA suspended its season.
2:06.5	The World Health Organization had declared the coronavirus a global pandemic.
2:11.6	Tom Hanks had tested positive for COVID-19.
2:16.6	But the news of this deadly virus felt very far away then and much less real than the
2:21.8	seven pounds five-ounce miracle that had broken into our lives.
2:27.1	Though we were in the middle of Lent, the joy of Christmas was near at hand.
