The post I just read from Charlie Kirk, he said, essentially, for decades now, the elites would say,

who cares about that factory in Tennessee?

They're just making shoes.

Who cares about that textile factory in Tennessee. They're just making shoes. Who cares about that textile factory in Tennessee?

Now we can make the shirts and shoes in Bangladesh for a tenth of the cost. And then we can sell it for less money and people will have more money to buy other things.

That was the argument. And I know that was the argument because I made that argument.

And then people would say, well, what about the people who work at that textile ammo?

What about the people? What about the Americans who work there?

And the response was, oh, they'll find other jobs. Creative destruction.

They'll be fine. They'll actually. Creative destruction. They'll be fine.

They'll actually be wealthier.
