nerds and welcome to the Extra Pack of Peanuts travel podcast,

the show that teaches you how to travel more while spending less.

I'm your host, Travis Sherry, and today's episode is going to be a little different than past episodes for a few reasons.

One, this is going to be my first solo episode

since October 15, 2013. So almost 24 months ago, 170 episodes ago. We haven't done a solo episode here.

And that's for a few reasons. One, they're not usually that much fun for me.

Believe it or not, I like to ramble on with other people,

actually to talk to, whether that be Heather,

whether that be Jason, the co-host who come on quite a bit, whether that be a guest, things like that.

But today I wanted to discuss the impact on my life that a friend of mine, Scott Dinsmore, who just recently passed away, had on my life.

And I didn't feel like I could do this with another person on the podcast. I actually for the last eight days have been sitting down trying to write a post to be able to get my feelings out that hasn't worked. I've just stared at the computer screen over and over and over again

I've tried to record a podcast and that has been very difficult as well so I'm not

exactly sure how this episode's going to turn out, but I do think it's important that I record it and that hopefully not only

Can it be therapeutic for me? But also the main point of this podcast I'm recording today is to help it be

inspirational.
