Summary
There were dark times (can the lights get turned on in time for a game, please?), there were bright times (Ryan Fitzgerald's field goal was the exclamation point on a feel-good first half), and then a shadow of panic/pressing consumed Florida State in meltdown against NC State.
Unforced mistakes mounted as the Seminoles pressed and pushed to get out of the tailspin in the second half, but it was to no avail as FSU didn't put up a second-half point in a 19-17 loss.
But this podcast isn't all doom and gloom. The vibrant, enthusiastic old soul that is Dane Draper helps provide some much-needed perspective to FSU's defeat as he joins Brendan Sonnone to break down the game. Yes, there's a concerning trend in a small sample size that we have to discuss, but this loss also feels a little different from a bird's-eye view.
