On January 24, 2019, a little girl was rushed from her daycare to a hospital, a death that, according to the courts, was caused by a woman meant to care for the child in question.

On January 24th, 2019, at 4.15 p.m., an ambulance was called to the child care facility run out of Stacey Valen Courts home in Rutland, Vermont.

A six-month-old baby girl, Harper Rose Breyer, was not breathing and was rushed to the hospital,

where, unfortunately, she was pronounced dead by medical professionals.

Though immediate speculation could have leaned towards a terrible accident,

all of that was quickly dashed away when the state's chief medical

examiner's office showed that the girl's death was a homicide, caused by something called

diphenhydramine intoxication, or, to be put more simply, death by an overdose.
