Andy North and I greet you from Augusta National where somebody asked me how

many years of doing this thank my wife she said how many is this and I said a lot

it's been a few two thousand was that your that was your first year it was my

first year with ESPN was 2001 so it's been more than 20 years together doing

the masters my first was 97 and somebody reminded me Gary being sickle

reminding me your first ever competitive round here at Augusta National

would you shoot 66 remember got close again what happens you just you

figured it like what do you remember like your most most people talk about the

first round they just try not to top it you shot 66 in your first round what

do you remember vividly about it the second round wasn't quite as good I

tell you about that later but it was it was one of those rounds that you play

here that will not happen very often where you get the ball in the right

position every single hole every part I had was uphill every every shot going

into a part five or whatever I got on the green and then on Friday I felt like

I played almost the same and had it on the wrong spot every single time I had

three or four balls come off of the rails back into the water I shot 81 66 81

yeah nothing nothing serious and see right no I made the cut oh hell there you go

check well the worst part is I mean I must admit I was so embarrassed walking up

the 18th fairway because you played horrible and people standing clap and like

they do here being so kind to people it was a disaster but you know we got

in and we made it and we got around 72 holes I think I think we I think we
