I haven't done one yet this season. We used to do it for the last three or four seasons, but got to do my first one this season at Tottenham, and I forgot how much I enjoyed like I've actually really grown to enjoy watching the matches from the dugouts because I feel like it really gives you a little bit more like added insight and like you can hear the teams talking you can hear what they're saying to players you can hear the conversations with the refs all that kind of stuff so come in there mate give us some of the behind the scenes duty gossip like tell us what's been going on what are

the players saying what are the refs saying like come on i gotta keep all that under my hat the one

thing i will say is a joke between uh martin and gareth just before kickoff or martin called gareth

and gareth looked around he was like mate we're going three four three and obviously that was some like

little inside joke that they both really enjoyed.

Love that. That was about it. Do you find it stressful? I feel like it's just like such a lot to manage on the day and so much happened in that game. Like you just were like, you just hear there and everywhere. Like what does it even work? And so I'm basically the liaison between the studio and the commentators and what's going on to the floor.

So it's my job to confirm like, well, I do the pre-match interviews, first of all, and then it's my job to confirm substitutes who scored like yellow cards, like getting that immediately to the studio as soon as it happens so that they can get their graphics ready and everything.

So it can be a bit stressful when like the latter stages of the game, when multiple things are happening. Like I've had people score when they're doing substitutes and the substitutes have changed from what they originally were meant to be while you're getting into the information through to the studio. So it is a lot. Like sometimes it also depends what the dugouts are and how many people are in front to you that can get. I had the anti- You know the doping people that come? Oh yeah. Check you after a game.
