let's look at some word now let's look at some word on thanksgiving how about that if you don't

have a bible tonight you want one the ushers have some um we're going to spend a little time in the

word as much as the lord says but then we're going to we're going to spend some more time thanking him

we're going to spend some more time thanking him um We're going to spend some more time thanking him. You know,

I started studying this earlier this week, just because it's what he put on my heart. But what you

find out when you start studying Thanksgiving is that, you know what, by nature, we're not a very

thankful people by nature, in our flesh, but in our

spirit, and by the, and through the love of God, we can be more thankful than anyone else.

We have the ability to be truly thankful where others don't. When you don't have the true love of God, the true spirit of God in you,

because thanksgiving is it's giving, it's part of giving,

so it is something that's born out of love.

If you thank somebody in a godly way, and if you thank God,

then through the spirit that he's put in us,

you are thanking him in love.

You know, it's one thing just to come up to somebody and say,

oh, thanks, that's great, thanks.

And it's another thing to say, man, thank you.

Brother, man, you don't even know.

And, you know, it's like little kids.

A lot of people, they want to teach little kids to have good manners.

But you can't teach somebody to be thankful.

Saying thanks and being thankful are two totally different things.
