their place of work, all for the sake of some money in the safe. So if you like your coffee hot,

but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder. On May 24th 2000, at a Wendy's fast food restaurant in Flushing Queens,

36-year-old John Taylor, a former employee,

and his accomplice, 30-year-old Craig Godinot,

stepped inside, ready to carry out their carefully planned robbery.

John and Craig took all seven individuals into the freezer and bound and gagged them at gunpoint.

Placing plastic bags over their heads, each employee who did nothing but show up to work that day, was shot in the head one by one with a 380 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

The men whose plan worked out perfectly stole between $2,400 and $3,200 from the safe, the sources differ on the total,

and walked out as if nothing happened. Despite their wounds, two of the employees managed to

survive the shooting, and one, 23-year-old Patricio Castro, called 911. The other survivor was

18-year-old Jaquan Johnson, those who perished

or 27-year-old Jean Augusti, 40-year-old Ali Ibadat, 19-year-old Jeremy Mele, 44-year-old Romo

Nazario, and 23-year-old Anita Smith. Less than 48 hours after the massacre,

John Taylor and Craig Gaudenot were arrested and charged with the murders.
