Summary
How are you raising your child to ensure that they have the right values? When they are equipped with great core values, they will seek out and connect to other kids who view life similarly and make the right choices.
In this episode, I am joined by Chris Thompson, my daughter Paige’s best friend. When Chris and Paige became close friends through rowing or “crew”, I knew that Chris had to have similar values to Paige that were instilled in him by his parents. It has been so fulfilling to see my daughters connect with other kids that understand the importance of making the right choices now for the success of their future.
Throughout this episode, Chris and I have a wonderful conversation about what it’s like to be a 16-year-old in the year 2022 - navigating peer pressure, social media, and finding the right friends who bring out the best in you. Chris shares the values that his parents have taught him throughout his childhood, what he looks for in friendships, why he knows to not give in to peer pressure, what he sees for his future, and so much more.
Tune in to Episode 112 of Uncover Your Magic to be inspired by Chris Thompson and learn how he is uncovering his magic as a 16-year-old!
