and have online classes for high schoolers.

The debate ever when school should reopen is happening nationwide and now just weeks away

from the traditional sort of classes many teachers are weighing in.

The new school year is starting up across the United States and it's all we've been talking

about in our house.

Truth is a lot of big questions remain.

Our kids are going to go back to in-person learning and what will school even look like.

I've talked a lot about the risks parents need to weigh about their children returning

to school but just as important are the decisions teachers have to make.

Nearly a third of teachers are 50 or older which means they could experience more serious

illness if they're infected with the virus.

And a lot of the features that would make returning to the classroom safer still have

yet to be worked out.

How do you ensure proper ventilation for example in a windowless classroom?

Can you get young children to keep their masks on?

And how do you limit class sizes to make social distancing possible?

These are just a few of the questions that school districts are scrambling to figure

out right now when that's leaving many teachers in a state of anxiety.
