Lille. It's Saturday it's the day of the

Thought there's a quite a quiet spot. It's the day of women's Parry rebate. I've just planned my itinerary on the train. I'm going to go on a train after lunch and

nip across to sector 8, which is about an hour from the finish of the race, I think it's about 40K to go.

So 8 cobbled sectors still to go in the women's race, and that's where I'm going to watch it,

and then hopefully once I've seen them go past, I'm going to get into, well somewhere in front of a

television screen so I can watch the winning riders reach the velodrome for the women.

As I said I've arrived in Lille I've just wandered off stroll through the city and I'm actually headed for a landmark in Lille I've

often seen from a distance and never got up close to it. It's quite extraordinary.

It's the belfry of the Mary of the town hall of Lille and it's huge. it's quite modern I mean I say modern it was they started to build it

a hundred years ago in 1924 and I was just reading up about it actually so the

original that that sound incidentally
