So you were smuggled in to Yemen.

My grandmother used to tell me that she was rolled up in the carpet

in the back of a truck when she was taken out of Syria.

Is that kind of the way it worked for you or not really?

Well, I was kind of rolled up in a local Yemeni dress.

I was able to legally enter southern Yemen, and then I was essentially smuggled to the north.
