which may seem unrelated at first, but for me at least, they do come together and something of a symphony, a hopeful

symphony at the end. Those three things are Easter, Pool Halls, and the Book of

Isaiah.

We just celebrated Easter, which is for many of the most important

and significant of the religious holidays

in the Christian faith.

It's the day Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

And if it's true that Jesus was resurrected, then he would be more than just a prophet and more than just a wise man whose teachings we would be

wise to emulate. He would be more than just a well-known religious leader if he was in fact, resurrected and is in fact still alive today, then he would be

who he claimed to be, and that is the son of God.

So it's an important holiday for people of Christian faith and was treated as such in my parents' household growing up. Each of the four children got a new outfit for Easter.

Why my beloved mother decided to get me a white leisure suit?

I will never know. It will likely be one of the first questions I ask if I do make it on the other

side. If I make it, I am very likely to ask two things up front. Number one, did I really make it? And two, why did my mom make me wear a white leisure suit to church in front of people I go to school

with on Easter Sunday. Where in the Bible does it say that you should humiliate your children at church on Easter Sunday?
