Todd Duplishan is a chef, restaurant tour, entrepreneur, and pretty much all the above.

I first met him two weeks ago when I went to lefties on the east side of Austin.

Under the hot sun, we sat at a picnic table eating even hotter food.

It takes a lot to distract me from the heat when it's over a hundred, but Todd managed

to do just that.

We split a bon-me, po-boy hybrid, spring rolls, slaw, and some of the best onion rings

I've ever had.

To be honest, he intimidated me at first, and for good reason.

Anyone who has the amount of knowledge he possesses deserves to be listened to with your

undivided attention, and I hope you do just that.
