Woke is a form of cultural Marxism. It's about taking individuality, merit, and achievement,

and subordinating that to a political agenda based on identity politics. It is effectively displacing

the truth in favor of ideology. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis talking about his presentation at the

case conference. And I think it's important that we fight against that because our society does

need to be rooted in truth. Don't tell me that a man can get pregnant and expect me to believe that.

That is not true, and we can't govern our society based on things that are not true.

The idea that motherhood is so hard and so exhausting and so taxing, it creates this anti-child dynamic in our society.

A lot of churches kind of, you know, what they present on a regular basis to their congregations

is sort of what Christians believe, but they don't really focus on the why we believe it.

And as I look at the

book of Acts, I mean, everywhere the apostles are going, they're focusing on the what and the why.

I like Esther because I think it speaks to a modern secular society and says to us, don't forget,

God is in control, even at times when you may not be seeing how he is in control or even

thinking about how he is in control, yet he still is in control.

And we are brought before the judgment seat of God, and he is going to render a verdict.

And if he renders a verdict based on our own works, efforts, our own resume, then we are doomed.

So our only hope to stand before that court is the blood of Christ, the evidence of his suffering
