Dean, thanks so much being guests from the show. Very much, appreciate it. John Jay, thank you for having me. I really appreciate this opportunity to speak with you today. Well, I'm glad you are, because we're going to talk about something that is tough to talk about. I know a little bit of Dean's story. I don't know the details, so a lot of ways I'm going to talk about is as much a surprise to me as it is to you listening. You were retired from NYPD. How long were you on the job? I was on the job just a little over seven years. Okay, gotcha. And I did look at your story a little bit, and our stories are remarkably similar, but I don't want to be a spoiler.
