But wishing to justify himself, the lawyer said to Jesus, and who is my neighbor?

If the great commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself, exactly what do you mean Jesus by that term neighbor?

So in answer to the question, Jesus told the story that we call the Good Samaritan.
