I know I recorded this sentiment last week, I believe, but man, it was still a great time. And I don't really have anything to

plug. There's some stuff pretty far away on the horizon. Not really a point in putting it out

there right now. But I'll be around doing stuff. I can't imagine you listen to this show and

I can tell you there'll be some more fun pen pals episodes coming up and a really fun episode of this show,

but I'm going to save that for the end of the year.

As far as any business I want to get to, let me first tell you that this show is going to be

good. I've got some great emails from you. I've got a lot of fun stuff to tell you about my

time in Rochelle and Thanksgiving and the weather in Chicago. That part might not be as fun.

It was okay for me. Then we've got our December holidays. We're kicking off the month because I'm

recording this on the night of December 1st. We have our news from Germania. We'll close that out.

But before we do that, I've got an interesting thing to tell you about.

It's the strange but true European Christmas ritual involving a live carp.

And I'm going to leave it at that because I got a lot I want to talk about before I get into it.

So I had my Thanksgiving and Rochelle.

It went great.

We played a round of what we call in my family Uncle Danny's holiday games, which involves me buying over $100 in scratchers,

and then my family trying to win them.
