talk today about one name, two scandals, the two Elizabeth Brooks. So they are two women called

Elizabeth Brooke, who share the same name, obviously,

but they're two very different women, although there are scandals associated with them both.

And I thought it would be a fun thing to do. Wait back when I first started this podcast.

Some of my very earliest episodes were called A Tale of Two Thomas's.

And I talked about like Thomas Cromwell and Thomas Woolsey or something.

I don't know.

I forget exactly who they all were.

But there was a tale of two Thomases.

And so this is going to be the tale of two Elizabeth Brooks.

There's the elder and the younger.

And we are going to talk about them both.
