There are distinct characteristics I embody that are my mothers. I have her laugh, her optimism,

her immediate reaction to hug people even if I'm meeting them for the first time.

She's the one who taught me to tell stories. My mom has gone through a lot of life and has

always been open to sharing her life, the beautiful and the ugly with strangers. And that's what's

encouraged me to do the same. And you know my mom. She's the first person you hear on the first
