The three of us have been in conversation before. We were remembering that I think it's been over a decade now

Since that fateful Think Galactic Conference in Chicago.

Has it been that long?

It's been a really long time.

We've all, we all have totally new skins.

Well, so we thought we would begin just by asking you to describe a little bit about

your journey towards writing science fiction and fantasy.

One of the things we were wondering about is

when you really saw yourself as embarking

on the journey of becoming a science fiction

and fantasy writer and how did you know that

you were brilliant and had something special and unique to offer to these genres?

Well, thank you. The journey really wasn't so much of a journey is just where I've always kind of been. As a child I started out reading, you know, fairy tales and you know,

mythology and things like that for fun and science fiction and fantasy were really just kind of more adult versions of the same thing.
