| 0:00.0 | Author and pastor's wife, Christy Anya Buele, finds that the more she runs, the more her physical capacity and endurance increase. |
| 0:08.9 | And I think that same analogy works here where the more we spend time in God's word, the more we run according to, run in the way of his commands. |
| 0:22.4 | He gives us capacity for more. |
| 0:30.4 | This is the Revive Our Hearts podcast with Nancy DeMoss Walgamuth, author of A 30-day Walk with God in the Psalms. For January 13th, 2020, I'm Dana Gresh. |
| 0:46.7 | Well, Danna, here we are in a new year, fresh start, turning over a new leaf. |
| 0:50.7 | Some people see it that way, and the old is behind us, the new is ahead of us. |
| 0:54.8 | And one of the things we like to do here on Revive Our Hearts is kind of a reset at the beginning of each year. And just, you know, we're in the Word all year long. That's what we're teaching. That's what we're talking about. We're sending women to the Word. But I always like at the beginning of the year to have some programming that just says, if you haven't been in the Word, now's a good time to start. Yeah. You know, last year about this time, |
| 1:10.9 | I was just feeling like my time in the word was dry. |
| 1:16.9 | I can't describe it any other way. It wasn't that I wasn't doing it. It's just I didn't have that |

| 1:30.1 | alive and active as the word says it was. And I knew that it wasn't the words fault. It was me. |
| 1:35.7 | And so I pushed reset in January. And Nancy, last year was one of the most refreshing times in my spiritual life in probably a decade and a half |
| 1:49.3 | because I just made the choice to start fresh in January with the word and how I approached it. |
| 1:56.2 | And you were already in it, so God gave you a fresh. He revived your heart in a way through his word. |
| 2:01.6 | And then I know we have listeners who aren't in the word at all. Maybe they used to be, but they |
| 2:06.1 | aren't now because of busyness and schedules. It's amazing how anything and everything can just |
| 2:11.2 | push out our time with the Lord and our walk with him. And I think the enemy loves that because |
| 2:16.9 | then we're trying to do |
| 2:17.5 | life on our own. And it's the word that we keep saying to ourselves and to those who listen to this |
| 2:24.0 | program. It's his word that we need that changes us, transforms us, makes us, molds us, shapes us, |
| 2:31.3 | helps us, heals us. So powerful and so important. So I'm really delighted to |
| 2:36.4 | have with us as our guest this week. My longtime friend, Christy Anya Buele, Christy, welcome to revive our |
