And I'm here as always with my good friend, long-term podcast co-host, Reverend Todd Pruitt, who is past of Covenant Presbyterian Church in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Harrisonburg, Virginia.

1:37.6	Hey, it's a real pleasure today. We've got a special guest. I guess is some of our listeners may not have heard of this gentleman before, but if you haven't, you're in for a treat.
1:48.0	It's the Reverend David Mackay. I first came across David, actually when I read his, the published version of his PhD dissertation, which was on George Gillespie.
1:59.0	David is a minister in the Reform Presbyterian Church, Northern Ireland,
2:04.0	where he's just retired in the last week or so from pastoral ministry after 41 years. So he's a very,
2:11.8	very experienced pastor. Though, as with so many ministers, his retirement is highly qualified by the fact that he will
2:22.1	continue to teach at the Reform Presbyterian College in Northern Ireland and, of course, continue
2:28.0	to preach, and we hope to write for the benefit of the church at large. But we've asked David to come onto the program today to talk about a new little book
