Instead of our usual conversation about the week's events from a Christian worldview,

we're going to share the audio from a special event we had this week at a church in North Carolina.

Our president of the Colson Center, John Stone Street, my co-host here at Breakpoint this week,

got a chance to sit down with

Professor and Dr. Carl Truman, who teaches in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies

at Grove City College. He's also the author of several important books about how to be a Christian

in this cultural moment. And that was the topic of their discussion this week. It's always been

difficult to be a Christian and a follower of Jesus,

but there are particular challenges in this time and this place.

At the same time, we believe that God placed us here for a reason

and that he is all wise and all-knowing.

That means that we need to understand the particular challenges of our own

cultural moment, and that includes the challenge of ever-increasing technological advance.

So that's some of what John and Carl got to talk about in their discussion this week, and we

didn't want to keep that all for ourselves. So we're going to play that for you now. This is audio
