When we left our story, Norma French had just passed away and unattended death.

She lived on the legendary fourth floor, the party floor, at the Tradition-Pressonwood Independent Living Facility in Dallas.

It's fall 2016. That summer, neighbors Juanita Purdy and Leah Corkin had also died, also unattended deaths.

So Gleneidae isn't kidding when she hints to daughter Cheryl Kerr that she's beginning to worry.

These people are dying all around me.

The deaths are unusual for the facility where most of the residents are healthy and enjoy

busy days of exercise, driving to have lunch or dinner with

family, continuing education. In fact, it's a week after enormous death and as friends

and family gather at Tradition Preston would for her memorial service.
