Welcome, Jacob. You told me that you were inspired by a couple of readings from one day at a time

in Eleanor. You want to share those with us? The first one is January 29th and this is one,

at least from my perspective, that kind of is instructional about not enabling our loved ones.

And although this particular reading talks about more of a marital type of situation,

I believe that it's equally applicable. Of course, I am obligated by compassion and a common

humanity to help others, but this does not mean that I should do for them what they ought to do

for themselves. I have no right to deprive anyone else of the challenge to meet his own responsibility.

Then it goes on to say that by my assuming those responsibilities, it will only weaken his will
