And greetings my friends, patriots, lovers of democracy, truth and justice, believers and

peace, freedom and the American way Tom Hartman here with you.

Bernie Sanders reached out to the government accountability office and members of the Senate

can do this.

They can go to the GAO and they can say, I'd like you to research something for me and

the GAO does.

And so the question that Bernie asked was, we know that there are a number of businesses

in America whose business model basically is to pay their employees such low crappy wages

that those employees actually qualify for food stamps or housing assistance or Medicaid

so that we don't have to pay them a better salary.

We don't have to cover their health insurance.

This is why the minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour, federally it hasn't been raised

in a long, long time.

But this is an actual business model.

To have your employees, you pay $7.25 or whatever you pay for your employees and then the federal

government, you and me, the taxpayers.

We pick up the rest so that they can eat, so that they can have housing, so that they

can have medical care.

So Bernie said, who are the companies who are doing this?

Which companies are doing the most of this?

And the GAO, the title of the report that they issued was titled, millions of full-time
