New Yorkers have voted by a large margin in the Democratic Party primary this week for

Zohran Mamdani, a self-described democratic socialist and the entire U.S. ruling class, much of it rooted in

New York City and on Wall Street, has declared war against Mamdani, hoping to prevent his expected

victory in the general election in November. We're going to talk about that today, but we're

also going to talk about the U.S. Israeli War on Iran and what

it says about contemporary politics and the state of the U.S. empire. I'm Leanne Seema Fulahan, here
