Good morning church family. My name is David Fresner and my family and I have been

members here for about six years and we serve in the missions department as

well as home group leaders. Our text this morning is from Matthew chapter 5

verses 13 through 16 and it says you are the salt of the earth but if salt has

lost its taste how shall it saltiness be restored. It is no longer good for

anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the

light of the world a city set on a hill cannot be hidden nor do people light a

lamp and put it under a basket but on a stand and it gives light to all in the

house in the same way let your light shine before others so that they may see

your good works and give glory to your father who is in heaven. This is the word

Bible I would love for you to open up to that passage. I am going to cover some of

the verses before it and kind of give you a kind of a broader picture of what's

going on in that passage. It was almost 15 years ago that I was just doing my

normal kind of Bible reading plan. It was in January you know I'm talking about
