make of the UK's proposed snap election, a poll that will be all about Brexit and the free movement

of people within the European Union? I think what we're seeing very strongly now is two sorts of uncertainty-facing business.

One is around the people that they can bring in, the talent that they need,

and the second is around the nature of the deal with the European Union.

Plus, are you addicted to the latest high-tech gadgets?

If so, blame the machines, not yourself.

In our attention economy, a majority of the

major tech companies today, it's often in their best interest to keep us there for as long as

possible. You know, okay, I'm going to watch an episode of Netflix. I didn't plan on watching

six. We ask, should ethics play a role in software design? That's all in business daily from the BBC.

The British Prime Minister Theresa May is proposing an early general election for the 8th of June

and it will be a poll all about Brexit. She said divisions were risking Britain's ability to make

a success of its departure from the European Union.

This poll, she's gambling, will give her a firm mandate in her negotiations with the EU

and perhaps help her wangle a better Brexit deal.

I trust the British public. I'm asking them to put their trust in me.

And if they do that, if they give me a mandate for these negotiations, for the

plan for Brexit that the government has, the plan for a stronger Britain beyond Brexit that we

have, then I think that will strengthen our hand. But also, as I pointed out yesterday, if you

look at the timetable, had the election been in 2020, we would have been coming up to the most crucial part

of the negotiations at the end of the negotiations in what would be starting to be the run-up
