Hey, this is Trey. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday edition of our podcast.

I'm very grateful that you would blow me a little bit of your time. Today is the Monday of Holy Week.

0:31.2

We had Palm Sunday. Marks the beginning of Holy Week for Christians as you may recall.

0:40.1

If you were fortunate enough to be at church every single time the doors were open,

0:45.4

like my parents had me there. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey with Palm branches laid in the

roadway. He visualized that. It's a triumphant entry fit for a king, but it would not last.

1:01.6

Later that week he was betrayed by a disciple, arrested, denied by other disciples,

1:08.9

brought before government and religious leaders. He lost a voice vote to what is described as a

2:10.8

significance because I finally got to do about the one thing that I really wanted to do before I

2:19.0

died, which was take her to Israel. And we went this past summer. I went when I was 17 and

2:28.1

loved it, life-changing trip. But I had been and I had a good recollection despite the years

2:34.7

had gone by, but she had never gone. I wanted her to see all the places that she not only read about

2:41.5

as a child, but still currently reads about. And to see where the person that she believes in the

most, the person that she lives, her life for was born and lived and died and lived again. So it was
