I think by now we all know that building an email list is important.

I've been studying the art of capturing emails for many years now. During this time, I have

tested and optimized my email captures over and over again until they have reached their peak

conversion rates. It is amazing how some of the tiniest adjustments can lead to the biggest gains.

Back in episode 75 and 76, I revealed two email list growth hacks that every blogger should

have in their arsenal.

In episode 75, I taught you how to double up your email subscriber conversions

by adding a little social proof right above and below your opt-in. An example of the social

proof that would be placed above your opt-in would be join the 1,527 other small business owners that subscribe to get our weekly marketing tips.

Or join 6,517 DIY chefs that get our latest recipes emailed to them.

You probably notice that there's a specific formula that these examples follow. That formula is

join plus a specific number of subscribers plus who the subscribers are plus what you send them. If you had a

social media marketing blog with 11,216 subscribers,

then your social proof call to action would be join 11,216 marketers that receive our latest
