So I was watching a Discovery Channel program recently on the Silverback Guerrilla.

Apparently, Silverback Guerrilla has been hours polishing their coats to a silky luster.

Apparently, the better their coats look, the more attractive they are to others.

So despite their formidable size and strength, mountain gorillas are quite gentle and even shy.

They are social animals within their own tight-knit, nomadic troops.

So you can see that once the Silverback finishes his polished routine, he stands up feeling

more confident.

And then he moves around the troop with his head up high, seemingly to stand taller than

the others.

Once his coat is the shiniest, he projects pride and the troop response accordingly.

So the question for you is, how shini is your coat?

Meaning, your packaging, how do you show up, the polish of your physical presence?

While I know you feel people should judge you for how you look on the outside, you just

need to know that they do.

It happens even unconsciously.

Even if the viewer thinks that they are non-judgmental, it is built into our evolution and our survival

instincts.

We are always categorizing, making snap judgments, and drawing conclusions about everyone

around us at all times, like it or not.
