tweets just meant to inflame or misdirect. And all of that's very real and, of course,

worthy of more discussion. But today, I want to remind you that every once in a while, social media can

actually be a force for good. So here's a story of a guy named Aaron Gouvea, who is a public

relations professional who goes by the Twitter handle at Daddy Files, where he often writes about

raising his three boys in

central Massachusetts. Last week, his middle son, five-year-old Sam, decided to wear nail polish

to school because he thought it made his nails look, in his words, beautiful. But once Sam got

to school, a lot of his friend disagreed, and he was teased and called names. And when the school

day ended in Aaron's words,

Sam collapsed into his mother's arms and cried uncontrollably. So Aaron tweeted about it,

with Sam's permission. It got retweeted 38,000 times and liked over 75,000 times. It also got

over 4,000 comments, many of whom were other men who painted their

fingernails in solidarity with Sam and posted photos. It even got this social media response from
