Welcome to another episode of Purple Insider, Matthew Collar, here. And this is going to be one of those times of year where every bit of news justifies discussion and podcasting. And then we will speculate and have lots of other good conversations.

So already to the folks showing up for the live show, jump right in those comments,

anything that's on your mind, questions, thoughts.

I am here to answer them about the Minnesota Vikings off season.

And we've got a couple of things to talk about right off the jump.

Number one being that Aaron Jones and the Vikings agreed to move the void date back on his

contract.

So the other day, his contract would have voided and the Vikings would have taken a couple

million dollars in dead cap and then he would be a free agent. But instead, the Vikings would have taken a couple million dollars in dead cap, and then he would be a free agent.

But instead, the Vikings and Jones's side decided that they are going to move that date back

to just before free agency, giving them the option to negotiate longer with Aaron Jones

if they want him to come back, if he wants to come back,

and if they can agree on a dollar figure for him to return.

So of course, this opens up a couple of questions that we have to look into,

which is, for starters, does this mean that Aaron Jones is coming back to the Minnesota Vikings?
