I would like to share a sign with you today that you're a good friend.

And look we know what constitutes a good friend, right?

A good sense of humor, loyalty, stuff in common, etc. But I'd like to highlight something

else and it was something that a friend shared with me recently and I thought, oh, I'm so happy that this is how she feels.

It's when your friends, the people in your life,

the people that you love, they tell you their good news first.

Of course we lean on our friends when times are rough, when we're broken-hearted, when we're disappointed, we call our friends, we talk it out awesome,

right? That's what friends are for. But I love being the friend that gets the text, gets the call

when something amazing is happening, an amazing opportunity, an amazing win, an amazing experience.

Why is that?

So often we go through life thinking, gosh, I don't want to shine too bright, I don't want to make anyone feel bad, I don't want to brag, I don't want to be like, oh, all that he's all that and I think the opposite is true my friends when it comes to friendship and what my friend said to me recently was she said that there's me and there's one other friend that she has that she is first to call

the people that they're the people that she calls we're the people she calls fast when it comes to sharing

good news, good business news, good opportunities, good possibilities, booking a trip, whatever it is.

And I felt so complimented by that for a couple of reasons. Number one, I am

sincerely happy when good things happen to other people. And that to me is a real sign of peace. It's not, oh, why not me?

Oh, why not other people have all the luck? No. To me, it's always just evidence that good things are possible, good things happen, and I want to celebrate that when I see that.
