I've been up and down Ireland all week,

filming a documentary.

I'm very excited about it, but I can't tell you what it is yet. I missed the

phone on the crack of being on a television set, working with lovely professional, passionate people.

Last time I worked on TV would have been my BBC series.

In fucking 2019 before the pandemic.

The pandemic kind of took a hammer to everything. TV work, journalism, the whole

entertainment industry changed radically post-pandemic. Before the pandemic, when

Donald Trump was President of America.

I used to have a feature on this podcast that people keep asking me to bring back.

I used to read out President Donald Trump's tweets as your drunk limerick aunt.

Because that's how Trump used the tweet. He used to tweet like a drunk uncle or a drunk aunt.

So I used to read out his tweets as this this character called

Drunk Limerick aunt and he all grew very fond of her. And when Joe Biden became President

of America, I stopped doing drunk limerick aunt. So I have a little treat for you this week.

I'm reading Yoda's short story, a short story from my book, Topography of Ibernica. And the story is called Pamela Fags, and it's written in the first person,

from the perspective of a character called Pamela, who's a solicitor solicitor and she smokes loads of fags and I read

this entire story out in the accent of your drunkenly and regant because that when I was writing this character Pamela my internal

my internal vices I was trying to inhabit her character was drunk Lymrigant I loved

the playful lyricism of the Limerick accent I
