Welcome to the Man Talk Show. I'm Connor Beaton, and this is a quick little holiday special.

Just wanted to send out a quick message to everyone that's out there with a few simple reminders for the holiday season, wherever you are, whatever your holiday looks like this year with restrictions and quarantines and COVIDs and all that other wonderful jazz. So whatever

0:27.3

you have going on this holiday season, my invitation for you is to ground back into your

practices, your rituals, whatever it looks like for you to prioritize self-regulation and self-soothing.

It's in these moments of the holiday season that we often forget these things, that we often allow ourselves to move into a space of chaos, of forgetting the things that allow us to feel connected in our core,

2:06.1

continue to work so hard to find grounding we can let ourselves go it's often in the face of

2:13.7

of joy and happiness where all of a sudden our rituals and our routines and the skills

2:18.8

and the sort of discipline that we have cultivated to remain grounded, to remain centered,

2:26.1

to remain present, follows by the wayside. Or you find yourself an environment that's chaotic

2:31.4

and you are around family members that are maybe

2:34.3

disappointing or infuriating or you know espousing some conspiracy theory and it's a very

2:40.0

confronting and testing experience so no matter what your holiday looks like this season no matter
