I came from Afghanistan.

The first school that was a bit tough, I had no friends, couldn't speak English and felt a bit left out.

My high school teacher was very supportive.

She matched me up with friends that spoke the same language as me.

Having friends gave me a lot of confidence.

I felt like I'm not being left out.

Thinking about teaching, to get advice on your application funding and courses,

such gets into teaching events.

During 2020, some of the hardest times have fallen on so many families.

And because of the pandemic and its economic impact, more than 50 million people may struggle with food insecurity.

And this includes possibly 17 million children.

That's shocking, especially since we all see our fair share of waste every day.

Still, millions of Americans aren't sure where their next meal is coming from, or if they'll get one at all.

No one should have to go hungry.

And if we have the means to help, it's really our duty to our fellow humans to do what we can.

And right now, possibly more than ever, help in any capacity is needed for millions of Americans.
