0:07.4	I think when we last spoke, I was still frustrated that there was no sort of political space for this.
0:12.2	I think people have become aware.
0:15.0	Things aren't great with boys and men.
0:16.5	I was raised awareness of it, but I still felt maybe particularly on the centre-left that it was difficult to actually do anything about it. And that's changed. I used to say, one of my talking points used to be that it was very hard to get people, especially on the political left, to actually do anything about this problem. First of all, we have to get them to talk about it. A, it's a problem. B, we can talk about it and then C,
0:45.3	we can't say that anymore. We've got governors, Governor Newsom, Governor Whitmer, Governor Wesmore in Maryland, also Governor Spencer Cox in Utah, all of whom have got pretty serious
0:49.6	initiatives now to try and promote boys and men. We've got, as I'm speaking to you now, two bills have just
0:55.6	been introduced to Congress to create a men's health strategy and office and to help men
1:00.6	with their mental health after fatherhood, right? The Men Matter bill. And there are a bunch of
1:04.7	stuff happening in states. And so I can't credibly say anymore, you know what? No one's paying
1:10.6	any attention to this. I can't sort of say it anymore you know what? No one's paying any attention to this.
1:11.5	I can't sort of say it anymore like you're shouting into the wilderness.
1:14.6	And I used to say like I'm banging my head against the brick wall, especially on the
1:17.5	Democrat side of the aisle.
1:18.8	That is just not true anymore.
1:20.5	And there's some politics behind that, of course.
1:22.4	I will, I think I have to be honest that I felt like I was banging my head against the brick
1:26.7	wall with Democrats until November, 24.

1:34.1	And then my inbox started filling up with Democrats.
1:37.2	Because they saw how much they'd fallen behind with men, especially young men.
