The Supreme Court has done something absolutely historic and you know it's like this is this generational thing on display

Neil Gorsuch actually relatively young fella on the Supreme Court in fact that was

one of the reasons he was picked

by the Federalist Society and by Trump

and his buddies to put on the Supreme Court.

It's because he was so young.

He'll be there for a long time.

You know, his mother, Anne Gorsuch was this god-awful administrator of the

Environmental Protection Agency under Reagan who resigned in disgrace after

trashing our nation's environment and environmental laws.

And, you know, in most regards, he's a terrible guy.

But the argument that was before the Supreme Court

had to do with what's called Title VII,

the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

And Title VII explicitly says,

it bars discrimination on the basis of, quote,

race, color, national origin, sex, and religion.

Now, up until today, sex was interpreted,

however, an employer decided to interpret it.

And by the way, that applies to the federal government as well. This story from June 12th in the guardian.
