Hi everyone, it's Sally Clarkson and I am just so excited to be with you today and know

that many of you know that I have a series of the best with Sally on right now. And so

I haven't been doing live podcast for a few weeks as I've been committed to so many different

things, but I wanted to take a special time today because there is a book coming out

that I absolutely love with a friend whose heart I really, really believe in. And so

I would just so like for you today to welcome my sweet friend Emily Lay on to home with

Sally today. Hi Emily. Hi, thank you so much for having me. I've been so excited about

it. Well, I am absolutely in need of your book. And when I was reading the chapters and

the chapter titles and everything, I thought, this is going to be such a great gift to

so many people. So tell us the name of the book and why you wrote it and then we'll just

jump in. Yeah. So the book is called When Less Becomes More Making Space for Slow, Simple,

and Good. And you know, I founded a company called Simplified and we have a Simplified

Planner. And I just started to notice that there was this common theme among our customers

or friends that women were just really, really frazzled. And they were all very drawn to

the idea of simplifying life. And you know, we often discuss the tactical ways to simplify

life, to organize things and that sort of thing. But my team and I started to wonder, what's

underlying all of that? Like what's the underlying need that we all have that we're so thirsty

for our lives to be a little bit easier? And I just fully believe based on my own experience
