But today's a great day to be together.

We've had a wonderful week as a church family.

So many incredible things to celebrate that God did in our midst at the return gathering.

If you're new with us, welcome.

We're so glad that you're here for the first time.

This last week we had what we call a sacred assembly based on Joel 212 through 17 with the Bible. And a sacred assembly is kind of

different than a weekend service. It's kind of like a retreat where we slowed down and we

really went in deep into our worship of God, hearing from God's word, and really coming before him, crying out for

him to move in our day. And in the midst of all of that, over a three-day period, we saw Jesus

change a lot of lives. A lot of people made significant decisions in their journey of faith,

not to mention that there were a number of people that made decisions to follow Jesus and go

public with that decision through baptism.

One really cool story is a young guy by the name of Cole.

Cole's a high school student. He was serving at the event.

He started praying a while ago for his dad to make a decision to follow Jesus and get baptized.

And he's actually somewhere in this service, I think, somewhere around here.

But Cole was praying for his dad and just asking Jesus to change his life. As the return gathering

happened on Wednesday night, Cole's dad said to him, hey Cole, I want to take a step to go

public with my faith in Jesus. Now this is after 21 days of prayer, and he had been coming every day to prayer.
