0:12.3	just read it. I'm going to do something a little different today. I'm just going to pray

0:29.5	through this passage, but it's such a powerful picture of Christian community, of Christ-centered,
0:36.5	grace-saturated community. What makes the church, the family of brothers and sisters in Christ
0:45.1	unique? And so from the very beginning I just want us to pray through this passage. And as I do,
0:51.9	and we enter seed in this way before God, let's pray for this kind of love to mark our
0:58.5	relationships first and foremost with other followers of Jesus in the church that our
1:04.5	relationships would be marked by this kind of love. And then that we would love people who are
1:10.7	apart from Jesus in these kinds of ways, in ways that draw them to the love of Jesus through us.
1:19.1	So Romans chapter 12 verse 9, oh God, we pray for relationships that are marked by genuine love
1:26.7	that we would abhor what is evil and hold fast to what is good, that we would love one another
1:33.4	in your church with brotherly affection, that we would outdo one another in showing honor to
1:40.4	each other, that we would not be slothful and zeal, that we would be fervent and spirit, that we
1:46.8	would serve you, rejoice in hope, that we would be patient in tribulation, that we would be constant
1:54.8	in prayer. God, we pray that you would help us to contribute to the needs of the saints as you
2:00.9	lead us and seek to show hospitality in a way that reflects your character. Help us to bless those
2:07.4	who persecute us, to bless them and not to curse them, to make us a community that rejoices
2:14.0	with those who rejoice and weeps with those who weep. Help us to live in harmony with one another,
2:20.2	to not be haughty, to associate with the lowly. God, please keep us from being wise in our own
